If it is true, "you get what you pay for"...then just pay them and save a ton of time and money down the road going with less experienced workers.

Customer stated u/s system is tripping whole home breaker 100amp u/s system breaker- 60 amp on condenser checked dual capacitor- failed replaced with 30/5 cycled a/c contactor dropping voltage intermittently contactor needs to be replaced in order for system to operate system is 28 years old and do not recommend any major repairs
Installed customer supplied shower valve no warranty.
Replace moen stem on kitchen faucet. looked over whole house. found a few things that need attention. please see options.
Install Honeywell 65 pint dehumidifier in basement connected to hvac system.
Water heater is leaking and should be replaced with 40 gallon short electric RHEEM this also includes a new expansion tank.
Hand dug to find leak near right side of driveway. Found 3/4" PVC pipe was cracked due to roots causing underground leak, cut out and repaired leak. Turned water back on purged any air,no leaks at this time.
Completed furnace preventative maintenance.Replaced filter owner wanted mpg removed. Checked heat exchanger venting and burners.
Ran K-750 sewer machine through clean out in front of home to clear blockage somewhere in street before the manhole, everything drains fine now.
Water Heater Flush and Comprehensive Plumbing Inspection. Recommended adding expansion tank per code,customer denied at this time, also denied plumbing inspection at this time.
Tightened packing nut on hot side angle stop to stop little drip.
Replaced ex tee in attic checked operation.
Inspected flue vent pipe on water heater and furnace, venting is correct, and what appears to be a white spillage on vertical section of pipe is from Sheetrock.
SERVICE CALL SYSTEM INSPECTION. REPLACED FILTER ON FURNACE. CHECKED FREON LEVELS. FREON GOOD. CLEANED CONDENSER COIL. FLUE PIPE REPAIR FROM FAIL INSPECTION. ALLOW FLUE PIPE TO HAVE 1" CLEARANCE IN ATTIC GOING TO ROOF OUTSIDE.
Performed one time tune-up on three air conditioner units and Replaced capacitor on main floor.
